The kidnappers made one fatal miscalculation: their target is Alice Creed.
On a suburban street, two masked men seize a young woman. They bind and gag her and take her to an abandoned, soundproofed apartment. She is Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton), daughter of a millionaire. Her kidnappers, the coldly efficient Vic (Eddie Marsan) and his younger accomplice Danny (Martin Compston), have worked out a meticulous plan. But Alice is not going to play the perfect victim - she isn't about to let her captors use her as capital without a fight. Alice enters into a battle of wills which strains the already fractious relationship between the two men. As the deadline for the exchange draws nearer, all three are brought close to the breaking point, with Vic and Danny's foolproof plan descending into a desperate struggle for survival. In a tense power-play of greed, duplicity, and survival we discover that sometimes disappearances can be deceptive, and even the most meticulous plans can go awry if you don't choose your victim wisely.

Lose yourself to rediscover your inner self.
Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having -- a husband, a house, a successful career -- yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. At a crossroads after a divorce, Gilbert takes a year-long sabbatical from her job and steps uncharacteristically out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life. In her wondrous and exotic travels, she experiences the simple pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of love in Bali. Based on the inspiring memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat Pray Love proves that there really is more than one way to marvel at and travel the world while rediscovering and reconnecting with her true inner self..
Rated: PG for brief strong language, some sexual references and male rear nudity (oh my!)

No genre is safe in this romantic-action-comedy about a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one - even themselves - are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust. A maze of double-crosses, close escapes, false identities, and head-spinning romantic snafus, this flick is fun, action-packed with enough twists and thrills to make a light tasty meal of it.

THE EXPENDABLES
Genre: Action/Thriller
Running Time: 103 minutes
Year Released: 2010
Director: Sylvester Stallone
Country of Origin: US
Language: English
Classification: 18A
US Box Office:$103.0M
Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Charisma Carpenter, Giselle Itié, Arnold Schwarzenegger
THE EXPENDABLES is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries - a remarkable octuplet of international big screen action heroes - hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. But it doesn’t take them long to realize that the mission is a trap and they are being set up to take the fall when it all goes horribly wrong.
Written, directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone who, although looks admitedly good at 64 years old, might want to add a "fantasy" label to this flick's genre given his character's 28 year romantic interest, the stunning old Giselle Itié. Nice of Arnold Schwarzenegger to offer up an amusing cameo with a few self-defferential zingers. Stalone ain't never gonna be no Clint Eastwood, but all in all, a pretty good bang for your R rated action thriller buck and that's undoubtedly why Rotten Tomato Audiences give it a solid 62% rating.

Erin's (Drew Barrymore) wry wit and unfiltered frankness charm newly single Garrett (Justin Long) over beer, bar trivia and breakfast the next morning. Their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end.
And while Garrett's friends Box (Jason Sudeikis) and Dan (Charlie Day) joke about his pre-flight calorie-cutting and his full-time relationship with his cell phone, they don't like losing their best drinking buddy to yet another rocky romance. At the same time, Erin's high-strung, overprotective married sister, Corinne (Christina Applegate), wants to keep Erin from heading down an all-too-familiar road. But despite the opposite coasts, the nay-saying friends and family, and a few unexpected temptations, the couple just might have found something like love, and with the help of a lot of texting, sexting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance.

What the Shrek just happened?
Longing for the days when he was a "real ogre," Shrek signs a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to get his roar back - but turns his world upside down in the process. Donkey suddenly can't remember his best friend; Fiona is now a tough warrior princess; and Puss in Boots is one fat cat! Together, they have just 24 hours to reverse the contract and restore happily FOREVER after to close the final chapter.
Don't miss the deleted scenes because it ain't ogre... til it's ogre!

I was expecting the 3rd Shrek to just be more of the same, but it was AWESOME! got myself the DVD! Inception on the other hand, I found confusing and pretentious...but maybe I'm not intelligent enough :)
